11-year-old on e-Bike Injured in Stearns County Crash

An 11-year-old Cold Spring boy was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle while riding an e-bike in Stearns County Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened at the intersection of County Road 50 and 158th Avenue, just north of Cold Spring.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says Silas Baker entered County Road 50 from 158th Avenue and was struck by an SUV driven by 24-year-old Lucy Thelen of Avon.

Baker was wearing a helmet and was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for further treatment.
