25 Year Old Killed in Single Vehicle Crash

One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Louisville Township. 

According to the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Wyatt James Sauve (25) of Red Lake Falls died when the eastbound 2018 Chevy Malibu he was driving crashed on County Road 13 one half mile from the intersection with County Road 9. 

Officials say the vehicle left the roadway, entered the south ditch and rolled several times. Sauve was ejected from the vehicle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting with the crash investigation which remains ongoing.
