Empowering Communities, Celebrating Minnesota Locally

The New Ulm Chamber of Commerce held their Tourism luncheon today (Wednesday) at the River Ridge Gun Club near Courtland and honored this year’s Tourism Person of the Year – Terry Sviene.  Sviene moved back to New Ulm from Rochester in 1995 and worked at the Chamber for 15 years.   Sviene says the tourism industry brings millions  of dollars into New Ulm and would recommend the Hermann Monument and Schell’s Brewery as must-see’s.  He also mentions the historic homes, the Brown County Historical Society Museum and the Kaiserhoff.
