One Injured In Two Vehicle Accident

A Thief River Falls area woman was injured in a two vehicle accident Friday in Polk County. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Kyrie Wright (28) was injured when the 2019 Ford Escape she was driving collided with a 2018 Chevrolet Impala driven by John William Marcum (57) of Bemidji. 

According to the State Patrol report Wright was westbound on Polk County Road 21, Marcum was southbound on Highway 75 when the vehicles collided in Angus Township. 

Wright was taken to Warren Hospital and treated for injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening. Both were wearing seat-belts at the time of the accident reported just before 1pm. 

Officials say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
