4-H and Minneapolis Sound Highlight State Fair Day 3

Day Three of the Minnesota State Fair is underway, with 4-H activities, working dogs and Minnesota music taking center stage.

Today is 4-H Day. Fairgoers can visit the barns, animal competition areas and 4-H Building for livestock events, displays and performances.

The Minnesota D-N-R is holding K-9 demonstrations at 11 A-M and 1 P-M. Conservation officers will show how the dogs locate hidden fish and game, assist in apprehensions and detect invasive zebra mussels.

Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis headline the Grandstand tonight at 7 with their Homecoming celebration of the Minneapolis Sound.

Admission gates close at 9 P-M. The fairgrounds and Mighty Midway remain open until 11, although individual closing times may vary. Minnesota State Fair Day 3 schedule
