63 Year Old Seriously Injured In Single Vehicle Motorcycle Accident
An Edmore, North Dakota man was seriously injured in a single vehicle motorcycle accident Tuesday in Walsh County.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the 63 year old failed to negotiate a curve in the road and was thrown from the bike 4 miles east of Edinburg. According to the report, he “entered the south ditch, rolled, and came to rest in the bottom of the ditch”.
He was taken to First Care Health Center in Park River then transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks due to the severity of the injuries sustained. Road conditions were dry at the time of the accident reported just before 1:30pm. The driver, whose name has not been released, was wearing a helmet.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
