Update: Fatal McLeod Co Crash

The State Patrol has released more information on the fatal crash in McLeod County Sunday afternoon northeast of Glencoe.

A minivan was traveling eastbound on 120th Street and a car was traveling southbound on Dairy Avenue when they collided in the intersection.

The Patrol says the driver of the minivan, 80-year-old Thomas Casey of Glencoe, died as a result of injuries he sustained.

A driver and two passengers in the car, 46-year-old Nancy Codney, 17-year-old Carley Codney, and 15-year-old Connor Codney of Gilbert Arizona, were taken to Glencoe Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened at about 1pm.
