Duane H. Hausmann

Duane H. Hausmann, age 82 of Morris, Minnesota, formerly of Hancock, MN, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at his home.

Visitation for Duane H. Hausmann will be held Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, MN.

Visitation will continue from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 26, 2024, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hancock, MN.

Memorial services for Duane H. Hausmann will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 26, 2024, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hancock, MN.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock, MN.

Duane Herbert Hausmann, son of Herbert and Violette (Wark) Hausmann, was born on May 9, 1942, in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota. He grew up on a dairy farm near Kensington where he attended school, graduating with the Class of 1960. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota Morris, being a member of the first class to attend the college.

On December 8, 1962, he married Bonnie Spencer at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hancock. The couple made their home in Hancock where they raised their family.

Duane was employed as a milk truck driver with Land O’Lakes where he worked for 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and photography. His greatest joy was his family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife: Bonnie of Morris, MN; sons: Thomas (MaryAnn) of New Berlin, Wisconsin, Terry (Lynn) of St. Cloud, MN, and Troy (Alice) of Hancock, MN; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and brothers: Gerald of Kensington, MN, David of Glenwood, MN, Dale of Alexandria, MN, and LeRoy of Frazee, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Herbert and Violette Hausmann.
