One Driver Hospitalized After Three Vehicle Crash in Kimball

One driver was taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Kimball Tuesday afternoon.

The State Patrol says 84-year-old Richard Carlson of Litchfield was taken to Meeker Memorial in Litchfield for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The other drivers, 29-year-old Nicole Sawatzke of Elk River and 50-year-old Chad Beilke of Hutchinson, were not injured.

Three passengers in the Sawatzke vehicle, a 1-year-old, 5-year-old, and 8-year-old, all from Kimball, had minor injuries.

The crash happened at the intersection of Highways 55 and 15 just after 2pm.
