Car Accident in Douglas County

Early this morning out in Douglas County there was an accident on Highway 29 Mile Marker 89.5, CARLOS TWP.

The Ford Econoline Van was entering Highway 29 from a private driveway. The Chrysler 200 Sedan was traveling Southbound on Highway 29. The vehicles then collided. The roads were confirmed to be wet. The Douglas CSO, Carlos Fire and Rescue, North Memorial Ambulance responded to the scene.

The passenger of the 2002 Ford Econoline Van was treated at the North Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
