FORMER NEW ULM PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHER INDICTED ON CHILD PORN CHARGES

A former New Ulm Public School teacher has been indicted for allegedly using a messaging app to distribute and receive child porn.  Court documents say 54-year-old Daniel Janke used Kik, a messaging and chat application to send and receive images and videos containing child porn material.  Janke has been indicted on one count of distribution of child pornography and three counts of receipt of child pornography.  The case is being investigated by the FBI and Assistant U.S Attorney Emily A Polachek is prosecuting.  Janke served as an art teacher and coach and as of this spring, was still employed at New Ulm Public School
