Minnesota’s PWHL franchise gets a name and a logo

(Undated) — Minnesota’s Professional Women’s Hockey League has announced its new name – the Minnesota Frost. The new P-W-H-L website says the name “celebrates hockey’s fierceness and beauty, a timeless Minnesota tradition, bridging generations.” The P-W-H-L 2024-25 preseason begins in November. Minnesota won the league championship last year.
