Fifth Suspect Arrested/Charged in Montevideo Fight

A fifth suspect has now been charged in connection with a fight at Inn Like Flinns Bar in Montevideo over the Labor Day weekend that sent three people to hospitals for treatment of knife wounds.

Thirty-two-year-old Eulin Saul Merlo Solis of Montevideo is charged with aiding and abetting first-degree assault and one count of third-degree felony assault.

Merlo Solis made an appearance Wednesday morning in Chippewa County District Court.

Police said in the statement that they do not believe there are more suspects involved, but the case remains under investigation.

Four other suspects were previously arrested and face the same charges.  One of them also faces a charge of 2nd-degree attempted murder.
