Fire Crews Mopping Up Ski Trail Fire Near Ely

Firefighters began mop-up on the Ski Trail Fire near Ely on Friday morning. 

The fire, located along North Arm Road and Echo Trail, was less than one acre. Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Superior National Forest firefighters were on-site continuing with assistance from the Morse-Fall Lake Fire Department. 

The fire was reported on September 12th.
