PEDESTRIAN CRITICALLY HURT AFTER BEING STRUCK BY VEHICLE IN ST. PETER

The state patrol is investigating after a St. Peter woman was critically injured when she was hit by a vehicle Saturday afternoon.  Authorities were called at 1:37 pm to Northbound Highway 169 and Jefferson Street.  A Nissan Cargo Van driven by 36-year-old Brandon Vonesson of St. Peter was northbound on 169 when it struck 68-year-old Debbie Lee Davis of St. Peter.  She was taken to HCMC with life-threatening injuries.  Vonesson wasn’t hurt.   St. Peter police and fire and the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
