SHERIFF SEIDL PRESENTING MEDALS TO THOSE INVOLVED IN CAPTURE OF KYLE RICKE

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is presenting medals to those that were involved in the capture of Kyle Ricke, the man who shot and killed Algona, Iowa police officer Kevin Cram last September.  Ricke was capture in rural Sleepy Eye.  The awards presentation will be Tuesday at 11 in the Brown County Courthouse, Courtroom #305 as part of the regular Brown County Commissioners meeting.  Medals of Valor will be presented to Brown County Sheriff’s Deputies Jason Fairbairn and Justin Robertson, Sleepy Eye Police Officers Taylor Bolinger and Peter McGarry and State Patrol trooper Valerie Hauser.  A Medal of Merit will be presented to Brown County Sheriff’s Office Dispatcher Julie Hellendrung.
