St. Peter woman killed after being hit by vehicle

A St. Peter woman has tragically passed away after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 169. Debbie Lee Davis, 68, was at the intersection of Highway 169 and Jefferson Street when she was hit by a northbound 2016 Nissan Cargo Van driven by 36-year-old Brandon Bradley Vonessen from St. Peter.

The incident occurred at 1:37 p.m. on Saturday, and Davis was subsequently transported to a medical facility in the Twin Cities. Unfortunately, the Minnesota State Patrol reported that her injuries were fatal at 1:37 p.m. on Monday.

Vonessen sustained no injuries in the accident.
