Secretary of State Says Plan Now for Absentee Voting
(Learfield News/Minneapolis, MN) – Minnesota voters who intend to mail in an absentee ballot for the November election should plan now.
Secretary of State Steve Simon says there have been reports of U.S. Postal Service delays.
He says “it’s not everywhere and Minnesota has fared better than many places across the country.” But, he recommends people requesting ballots and getting them returned early.
Simon says absentee ballots must arrive at the voter precinct by 8 pm on Election Day November 5th.
Minnesotans can vote early in-person now at a local city or county office.
