Former Schwan’s Home Delivery Ending Services in November

(Learfield News/Bloomington, MN) — The company formerly known as Schwan’s home delivery is closing in November following a 72-year run of its refrigerated trucks.

Yelloh brand says 176 employees in Minnesota will be laid off November 22nd.

Yelloh has facilities in Bloomington, Eagan, Maple Grove, Marshall, Sauk Centre, Truman, and Zumbrota.

Schwan’s was founded in Marshall, Minnesota in 1952.

Officials said in a statement that digital shopping has replaced the personal, at-the-door customer interaction that was the hallmark of the company.
