Beyonce Could Clean House Tonight At People’s Choice Country Awards
Beyonce was the talk of the Academy of Country Music Award Nominations recently, and not because she was nominated for the most awards. She wasn’t nominated at all for her debut crossover into country. Those ACM Awards will air in November.
However, tonight could be a different story at the People’s Choice Country Awards. On top of a People’s Artist of 2024 nomination, Beyoncé picked up nominations for Album of 2024 for Cowboy Carter, Collaboration Song of 2024 for “Blackbiird” featuring Brittney Spencer, Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, and Reyna Roberts, Storyteller Song of 2024 for “16 Carriages,” Crossover Song of 2024 with Miley Cyrus for “II Most Wanted,” and Song of 2024 for the chart-topping single “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
Beyonce and Zach Bryan are nominated for the most awards. Shania will host the night and Miranda Lambert will pick up the Country Icon award all live from Nashville. The People’s Choice Country Awards air tonight on NBC and Peacock, with the ceremony kicking off at 8/7c.
