Willmar Police Chief Retiring

The City of Willmar has announced the retirement of Chief of Police Jim Felt.

According to a press release, Felt has dedicated over 34 years of service to the community and the department.

Chief Felt’s retirement will take effect on Friday, October 18, 2024.

Felt joined the police force in 1990 and rose through the ranks, serving in various capacities before being appointed Chief of Police in 2014.
