Cement Truck Driver Injured in Renville Co Crash

A cement truck driver was injured when a tire blew on his truck and it crashed in Renville County Wednesday morning, southwest of Hector.

The Sheriff’s Office says on arrival, emergency responders discovered a Dunnick owned cement truck resting on its side in the Eastbound ditch on County Road 4.

The driver, 32-year-old Guadalupe Navarro of Willmar self-extracted with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say as the vehicle was traveling eastbound on County Road 4, the front driver’s side tire blew causing significant front-end damage. Navarro then lost control of the vehicle and it entered the ditch.
