NEW ULM MAN KILLED IN NORTHERN IOWA CRASH
A New Ulm man was killed in a crash in northern Iowa south of Albert Lea Sunday afternoon. The Iowa State Patrol says 33-year-old Samuel Poquette of New Ulm was driving a Cadillac CT6 southbound on I-35 at around 1:45 pm when he lost control and went into the median, through the cable barrier and struck a bridge pilar. Poquette was pronounced dead at the scene. The Worth County Sheriff’s Office, Kensett Fire, Northwood Fire and ambulance and the Worth County Medical Examiner all assisted at the scene.
