Liberty Even Series with 80-66 win over Lynx
BROOKLYN, NY – The WNBA Finals are all even. After the Minnesota Lynx rallied from an 18-point deficit to win Game 1 in overtime, the New York Liberty bounced back with a 80-66 Game 2 win Sunday.
Breanna Stewart led the way with 21 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and a WNBA Finals-record 7 steals. Teammate Betnijah Laney-Hamilton added 20 points for the Liberty, hitting 4-for-8 3-pointers.
The series shifts to Minneapolis for Game 3 on Wednesday (8 p.m. ET, ESPN).
