TWO SERIOUSLY HURT IN SOUTHERN MINNESOTA BEET SUGAR COOPERATIVE NEAR RENVILLE

The Renville County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Southern Minnesota Beet sugar Coop in rural Renville for the report of two people that fallen from scaffolding inside of a storage tank.  A preliminary investigation showed two individuals were working on top of the scaffolding when coworkers were attempting to reposition the scaffolding when it tipped over, causing the two males to fall about 35 to 40 feet to the ground.  Both victims, 22-year-old Chance Anderson from Adams, Minnesota and 30-year-old Tedrick Coleman from Baton Rouge, Louisiana were removed from the storage tank with Tedrick being flown by LifeLinke  to St. Cloud Hospital with suspected serious injuries.  Anderson was taken by Olivia Ambulance to the Olivia Airport where he was taken by LifeLink to the St. Cloud Hospital also with suspected serious injuries.
