Lynx Win, Game 5 Sunday

The Minnesota Lynx beat New York in game four of the W-N-B-A Finals on Friday night at Target Center, 82-80. The series is tied at two games apiece, and the decisive game five will be Sunday night at New York. Bridget Carleton hit two free throws with two seconds left to give Minnesota the two-point lead, and New York star Sabrina Ionescu missed a three-pointer as time expired. All five Minnesota starters scored in double-figures, led by Kayla McBride with 19 points. Courtney Williams scored 15 points, and Napheesa Collier added 14 points and ten rebounds. This was a back-and-forth game with 14 lead changes and 13 ties. The winner-take-all game five will tipoff at 7 p-m Sunday in Brooklyn.
