Wild win in Florida
(Sunrise, FL) — The Minnesota Wild scored three goals in the second period in a 5-1 win over the Florida Panthers at Amerant Bank Arena last night. Minnesota scored twice in the span of 22 seconds during the first period, with Marco Rossi and Marcus Johansson both finding the back of the net. Matt Boldy, Mats Zuccarello, and Joel Eriksson Ek also scored in the victory. The Wild are on a six-game point streak, and they’re in second place in the Central Division with ten points and a 4-0-and-2 record. The Wild have not trailed in a game in regulation this season. Minnesota is at Tampa Bay tomorrow night.
