Wild Pick Up Another Road Win

The Wild extended their season long point streak to six straight games with a 5-1 win over the Florida Panthers. Marco Rossi, Matt Boldy, Marcus Johansson, Mats Zuccarello and Joel Eriksson Ek all scored for the Wild as they improve to 4-0-2 – their best start to a season since 2008-09. Not only have the Wild scored first in all six games but they also haven’t trailed for 360 minutes to open the season – second longest streak in N-H-L history only trailing the Boston Bruins from 1969. Filip Gustavsson got the win on 24 saves as both he and the Wild have won three straight. The season long road trip continues on Thursday night in Tampa with a 6 P-M start against the Lightning.
