Wild stay hot in Florida
(Tampa Bay, FL) — The Minnesota Wild scored a pair of third period goals to cap off a 4-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena in Tampa last night. Matt Boldy scored the go-ahead goal less than a minute into the third, and Kirill Kaprizov added an empty-netter in the final minute of regulation. Kaprizov had two goals in the win, and Joel Eriksson Ek also lit the lamp. Minnesota is on a seven-game point streak. Brandon Hagel and Nikita Kucherov both scored in the losing effort. The Lightning have dropped three of four. Minnesota visits Philadelphia for a noon game tomorrow.
