Fatal Hennepin Co Crash

One driver died in a two-vehicle crash in Hennepin County Sunday morning.

The State Patrol says 60-year-old Julie Terwey of South Haven died at the scene.

The Patrol says her vehicle hit a deer and was stopped in the center lane of eastbound I-94 near Brockton Lane when the other vehicle rear-ended her vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle, 32-year-old Jordan Land of Becker, was taken to North Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened just before 5:30am.
