Gopher Volleyball comes from behind for win
(Columbus, OH) — The 15th-ranked Golden Gopher volleyball team rallied for an impressive five-set win at Ohio State yesterday. The Gophers were whipped in the first two sets by the unranked Buckeyes 25-16 and 25-18. Minnesota went to work in the third set, beating O-S-U by a score of 25-22, before winning the final two sets 25-16 and 15-10. The victory pushes the season record to 14-6 for the Gophers, who are now 7-3 in the Big Ten. Ohio State dipped to 8-12 overall and 1-9 in the league. Minnesota’s Julia Hanson of Prior Lake led the way with 21 kills. The Gophers will travel to Michigan State for a Friday night match at 6 P-M.
