HURRICANE DONATIONS CONTINUE IN NEW ULM
Donations for Hurricane victims in North Carolina are still being taken in the public utility lot behind German Park in New Ulm. Organizer Katie Rosehammer says it’s the last opportunity for you to donate. She is taking donations from 12:30 to 4 today (Monday) and Tuesday and then from 2 to 5 or 6 pm Friday. Rosenhammer says they still need meats, potatoes, onions, carrots, fruits, cheese, snacks, flatware, bedding, small kitchen appliances, school supplies, new undergarments and especially baby formula. Rosenhammer says she has been overwhelmed and moved by the response to the donations. Rosenhammer says she is impressed by the friendships and connections that have been made through this effort. She said the donations are scheduled to leave bright and early next Monday morning, November 4.
