Brosmer and Perich win Big Ten Awards

(Minneapolis, MN) — Gopher quarterback Max Brosmer and safety Koi Perich of Esko are being recognized for their performances in Minnesota’s 48-23 win over Maryland. Brosmer was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and Perich is the Freshman of the Week. Max threw for a season-high 320 yards and four touchdowns against the Terrapins. Perich had his conference-leading fifth interception Saturday and his 45-yard return led to a field goal.
