11 Mpls Lows Street Affiliates Indicted on Federal Racketeering
(Learfield News/Minneapolis, MN) — 11 affiliates of the Lows street gang have been charged with racketeering.
The Lows are a north Minneapolis gang and rival of the Highs and Bloods.
U.S. Attorney for Minnesota Andrew Luger says those indicted on the federal charges are alleged to have been in seven shootings that resulted in 10 victims and five murders.
All the suspects are detained.
This is part of a larger gang crackdown by Minnesota officials, in which 41 members or affiliates have pleaded guilty or been convicted since.
