College FB/VB Saturday Results

College football today in the MIAC and UMAC, MIAC finals: The Gusties racked up  314 yards rushing, 208 from River Wood with an 87 yard TD run and De Marion Brown with 89 yards and a 61 yard TD run and the Gusties pick up a 21 to 10 win over St Olaf. St John’s crushes St Scholastica 70 to 0. Concordia was a 38 to 7 winner over Augsburg and Bethel takes it to Carleton 56 to 7. One night game, Hamline heads south on Snelling avenue to play Macalester at 7pm.

UMAC Final: Northwestern defeats Martin Luther  35 to 7.

College volleyball finals today in the UMAC.  Northwestern defeats Martin Luther 3 to 0 and Bethany Lutheran was a 3 to 1 winner over North Central.  The Gusties have a MIAC matchup tonight, 7pm at Bethel.

Section 3 Volleyball Championship matches tonight at Southwest Minnesota State, Class A, Westbrook/Walnut Grove takes on Minneota at 5pm, followed by the Double A championship, New London/Spicer versus Redwood Valley match up at 7:30pm.
