Loons upset Real Salt Lake, Head into Semis

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota United are moving on in the M-L-S playoffs. The Loons played Real Salt Lake to a 1-1 draw at Allianz Field on Saturday, but they won 3-1 on penalty kicks. Minnesota beat Salt Lake 2-0 in the best-of-three series. The United go up against the L-A Galaxy in the Western Conference Semifinals at a date to be determined.
