YOU CAN STILL REGISTER TO VOTE ELECTION DAY

Over 1-million people have already voted early in the presidential election in Minnesota.  Pre-registration to vote has closed but Brown County Auditor/Treasurer Kelly Hotovec says you can register when you go vote Tuesday.  You need a form of identification with your current address whether it’s your driver’s license, or an electric bill or a bank statement.  Polls open at 7 am and will close at 8 pm.  By state law, you can vote past 8 pm only if you are in line at your polling place at 8 pm.  Heartland and Hermann Express are offering free rides to and from polling places Tuesday throughout Brown County.  Free rides to the Brown County Courthouse are being provided through funding by the League of Women Voters.  If you want more information, you can contact the bus service at 507-3359-2717.
