WOMAN DIES IN WELLS HOUSE FIRE

A Wells woman is dead after a house fire in Faribault County Saturday.  Deputies responded to the fire in Wells around 4 pm on the report of a person still inside.  88-year-old Shirley Lemons was pulled from the house but despite lifesaving aid, she was pronounced dead at the scene.  The cause of the fire is unknown.
