State FB Quarter’s Results

The Minnesota State Football Quarter-finals results:

Nine Man:

Mountain Iron/Buhl picks up a 38 to 6 win over Stephen-Argyle Central. Fertile/Beltrami was a 48 to 7 winner over Cromwell-Wright and Hills/Beaver Creek was a34 to 14 winner over Border West. Leroy/Ostrander/Lyle/Pacelli thumps Renville County West 50 to 0.

Class A:

On SAM, Springfield scores late to defeat Goodhue 20 to 14 and Parkers Prairie upsets Upsala/Swanville 33 to 0 to move to semi-finals. Mahnomen/Waubun edges Deer River 14 to 6 and Minneota was a 41 to 0 winner over Lester Prairie.

Class AA:

Staples/Motley upsets Barnesville 46 to 43 and Chatfield holds off Triton 23 to 22 to advances to Semi-finals. Jackson County Central eliminates Central with a 34 to 7 win and Kimball shuts out Moose Lake/Willow River 38 to 0.

Class AAAA:

Becker was a 35 to 15 winner over Holy Angels, Orono defeats Hermantown 49 to 21, Totino/Grace defeats Hill/Murray 24 to 0 and the Marshall Tigers shuts out Byron 21 to 0. Semi-finals will be next Thursday and Friday.

Class AAA:

Albany was a 28 to 27 winner over Fergus falls, Stewartville picks up a 40 to 14 win over Holy Family Catholic and Dassel/Cokato knocks Fairmont out of the tournament, with a 29 to 28 win.

Class 5-A:

Elk River was a 36 to 29 winner over Monticello, Alexandria gets by Robbinsdale Armstrong 17 to 14. Owatonna edges Cretin/Derham Hall 22 to 21 and Chanhassen was a 38 to 21 winner over St Thomas Academy.
