Vikings Defense dominates in win over Jags
(Jacksonville, FL) — The Minnesota Vikings overcame a three-interception performance from quarterback Sam Darnold, using four John Parker Romo field goals to beat the Jaguars in Jacksonville 12-7 yesterday. Darnold threw for 241 yards and could not engineer a touchdown-scoring drive. However, the offense did produce 402 yards and held the ball for more than 42-minutes of the game. The Purple held Jacksonville to 143 yards of total offense. Minnesota is on a two-game winning streak at 7-2 on the season. Jags Q-B Mac Jones had 111 passing yards and two interceptions in the losing effort. The Jags have lost their last three games and sit at 2-8. Minnesota will visit Tennessee this Sunday for a noon game. Tennessee lost to the L-A Chargers yesterday 27-17.
