Vikings beat Titans, go to 8-2
(Nashville, TN) — Minnesota quarterback Sam Darnold was responsible for three touchdowns as he led the Vikings past the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium in Nashville yesterday. Darnold threw a 47-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Addison in the first quarter before rushing in a score in the second. He added a short touchdown throw to Cam Akers to give Minnesota control of the contest in the third quarter. He finished the game with 246 passing yards, while Justin Jefferson added six catches for 81 yards. The Vikings are on a three-game winning streak and have improved to 8-2. Titans signal-caller Will Levis threw a 98-yard score to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in the losing effort. Levis had 295 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Tennessee has dropped five of six. The Vikings visit Chicago on Sunday. The Bears lost to Green Bay yesterday 20-19. Chicago is 4-6.
