Beyonce To Perform Songs From Her Country Album During Christmas Game

Beyoncé will be the halftime performer for the NFL Christmas Day game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans.

The game will be held in Houston, where Beyoncé was born.   This will be the first time she has ever performed songs from her country album, “Cowboy Carter”, live.

Beyoncé announced the news with a post on Twitter that showed her fully decked out in her “Cowboy Carter” clothing and props, standing on top of a classic car covered in roses.  The license plate reads, “BRNCNTRY [Born Country]”.

“Variety” reports that she’ll be bringing out some special guests from the album to join her.
