St. Thomas WBB beats Oakland

(Auburn Hills, MI) — The St. Thomas women’s basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak with a road win at Oakland yesterday 73-62. The Tommies outscored the Golden Grizzlies 27-12 in the third quarter to take the lead for good. Amber Scalia of Stillwater and Jo Langbehn of Elk River each scored 22 points in the victory. St. Thomas is now 4-2 on the season, while the host Golden Grizzlies dropped to 1-4. The Tommies will return to action on Monday night when they Division III Macalester at 7 P-M at Schoenecker Arena in St. Paul.
