Vikes Survive Bears In OT

The Minnesota Vikings prevailed in overtime, topping the Bears 30-27 in Chicago yesterday. Kicker John Paul Romo hit a 29-yard field in O-T to give Minnesota the victory. Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold completed 22 of his 34 pass attempts for 330 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Minnesota running back Aaron Jones led all rushers with 106 yards to go along with a touchdown. Two Vikings pass-catchers topped 100-yards, as Jordan Addison caught eight passes for 162 yards and a score, while T-J Hockenson caught seven balls for 114 yards. Jalen Nailor also caught a T-D pass. Minnesota is now 9-2. Bears Q-B Caleb Williams completed 32 of 47 for 340 yards and two touchdowns. Williams also carried the ball six times for a team-high 33 yards on the ground. D-J Moore caught seven passes for 106 yards and a touchdown for Chicago, while Keenan Allen hauled in nine passes for 86 yards and a score. The Bears are now 4-7. Minnesota will host Arizona on Sunday at noon. Minnesota coaches will be on X’s and O’s, Wednesday at 6:30pm on SAM.
