Glencoe PD Offers Advice On Children Using ‘Discord’ and Other Apps

The Glencoe Police Department is reporting that over the last couple of years they’ve seen an increase in solicitation and other various crimes towards children on the Discord application that is commonly used by juveniles.

Discord is a “communication tool for people to hang out and talk together before, during, and after playing their favorite games.”

Authorities suggest that if your child uses this application, it is important along with any other application, to monitor who your children are communicating with.
