More Info Released on Carver Fleet Farm Assault

More information has been released on an an assault that took place in the Carver Fleet Farm Store Sunday afternoon.

The Carver County Sheriff’s Office says a 17-year-old employee was assaulted with a weapon.

A press release says authorities responded to the store on a report that the employee “suffered an apparent stab wound to her neck.”

The employee was taken to the hospital with no serious injuries and she was last reported to be in stable condition at the hospital.

The suspect, a 31-year-old man from Kansas City, Kansas, fled the store but was later taken into custody and booked into the Carver County Jail.

Authorities say there is no known connection between the suspect and victim.
