BBB Urges Minnesotans to Use Caution on Cyber Monday
(Learfield News/Burnsville, MN) — It’s Cyber Monday, and many Minnesotans will be looking for deals online.
Bao Vang with the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota says scams are on the rise this time of year and to beware of fake websites.
She says,” a lot of websites out there are quickly made or can be put up relatively easily, will mimic other sites and can steal photos, images, and products from other places.”
Vang recommends that consumers do as much research as possible on the products and the sellers before buying.
