Hutchinson Center for the Arts POLLINATOR Open House on SAT 5/30 10am – 2pm.
FREE
A Master Naturalist will be on hand to answer questions and share fun facts! Kids will make seed bombs to grow plants which attract pollinators. A special, Pollinator themed selection of goods are also for sale: cookies, beeswax lip balm & soaps, honey pots, local honey, stickers, and art prints.
The Gallery Exhibit features art from area artists that celebrates animals that move pollen/seeds helping plants germinate and blossom. It runs thru SAT 6/27 and can be viewed during Gallery hours WED-FRI 10am – 5pm + SAT 10am – 3pm.

The Brownton Bruins annual Golf Tournament is coming up on Saturday, May 30th at the Glencoe Country Club. 4 person Scramble with a 10 am Shotgun Start. Proceeds benefit the Brownton Bruins and the Family of Chet Sjostrom (to help with medical expenses). More info you can email bruinsgolf@outlook.com

June 8-Aug 13, 2026: The Hutchinson School District will be offering free breakfast and lunches to all kids ages 18 and under regardless of income, school district and other social guidelines. Two separate sites will be offering meals to the public from June 8th – Aug 13st (M-Th). Hutchinson Middle School will be Dine In and “To Go” meals and The Aquatic / Rec Center will only be offering “To Go” meals. Similar to last year, weekend “To Go” meals will be offered on Thursdays at the Hutchinson Middle School. Parents and children will be able to pick up lunch for Thurs, breakfast and lunch for Friday thru Sunday and Monday breakfast. That’s 8 meals at one time!! Dates & times are listed below. Volunteers are also appreciated if interested. If you are interested in volunteering or have questions please contact Anne Hillstrom at anne.hillstrom@isd423.org or by calling 320-234-2717. Below are the dates, times, and locations for the program.
