Lots happened on Saturday:

Boy’s Basketball:

Waseca defeats MVL 94 to 59, Central had a non-league win over LCWM 60 to 54, St Mary’s picks up an 88 to 46 win over Red Rock Central. The Wabasso Invite wrapped on Saturday-GFW was a 64 to 59 winner over Lakeview, Hancock defeats Heron Lake/Okabena/Fulda 60 to 49 and Wabasso was an 89 to 71 winner over MaCCray. Also, St peter picks up a big South win over Pipestone 91 to 83, Redwood Valley was an 87 to 47 winner over Minnewaska. Cleveland and Lesueur/Henderson were postponed.

Girl’s Basketball:

St Peter gets a conference win over Pipestone 78 to 79 and Cedar Mountain defeats Red Rock Central 67 to 24.

Fergus Falls came to New Ulm and defeated the Eagles 4 to 2 and Wadena/Deer Creek was a 5 to 4 winner over Redwood Valley.

Girl’s Hockey:

Minnesota River defeats Willmar 3 to 1.

NCAA Division 3 Football (Third Round):

Susquehanna, PA, kicks a late field goal to upset St John’s 41 to 38 and Bethel’s defense shut down Wartburg’s rushing offense to pick up a 24 to 14 victory. Bethel heads to Susquehanna on Saturday.

Men’s Basketball:

Gustie men defeat Concordia 79 to 72.

Women’s Basketball:

Gustie women defeat Concordia 57 to 42.

Men’s Hockey:

Gustavus picks up a 5 to 1 win over Augsburg.

Women’s Hockey:

Augsburg splits the series with Gustavus, winning 4 to 1 on Saturday.
