Hutchinson School District Levy Certified

The Hutchinson School Board held their Truth in Taxation meeting this week and certified the 2025 levy.

The levy is an increase of $417,000 over the 2024 levy, or just over 4 percent.

Director of Business and Finance Becky Boll says on a residential property worth $300,000, the home owner would see an estimated $15 decrease in the school portion of their property tax. However, Boll said because of state formula guidelines, other taxes for commercial, industrial, and agricultural property will see increases.
